CHAS/Pioneer Generation

chas

The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) was introduced on 1 Jan 2014 to provide accessible and affordable primary healthcare services to Singapore citizens. CHAS covers selected dental treatments, common illnesses1, and 15 chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP)2.

Patients who qualify for CHAS and Pioneer Generation will receive subsidies when they visit a CHAS-clinic for their healthcare needs3.

Raffles Medical Group is happy to provide subsidised medical care to more Singaporeans at Raffles Medical GP and Dental clinics island-wide* under CHAS. We can also assist with CHAS applications.

For more information on CHAS, please click here.

* All Raffles Medical clinics are participatory clinics under the CHAS scheme. CHAS subsidies are not applicable at Raffles Executive Medical Centre, 24-hour Emergency, and Raffles Medical @ Raffles Hospital.

1 Coverage for acute illnesses is only for patients on the CHAS Subsidy Blue Tier.
2 Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) – The programme covers: Anxiety, Asthma, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Bipolar Disorder, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Dementia, Diabetes, Hypertension, Lipid Disorders, Major Depression, Nephritis/Nephrosia, Osteoarthritis (OA), Parkinson's Disease, Schizophrenia, and Stroke.
3 Healthcare needs are defined as basic dental treatments and acute conditions covered under CHAS and the 15 chronic diseases covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP).
