What is Intense Pulse Light (IPL)?

Who can use IPL?

IPL is an excellent choice for men and women of all ages considering treatment for various hair or skin problems. As treatment is based on light absorption in melanin and in hemoglobin, treatments are most efficient in light-skinned persons who are not sun-tanned at the time of treatment. Patients with very dark skin tones are not suitable.

How long is the procedure?

Are there any side effects?

• Some redness and swelling can be seen near the treated area, which will go away after a few days.
• Pigmented areas like freckles will become darker around 3 days after the treatment, persisting for 7-10 days. It can be covered with makeup.
